Couple rad updates today. Now using Wordpress 2.9.2! Along with the 2.9.2 update came a theme update with a new set of buttons to share posted threads on different social networking sites. More importantly, user profiles now display properly. A plugin was causing users profile pages to be displayed incorrectly. Users with profile pictures need to resubmit their images for them to display again. If you haven’t checked out the new site yet, drop in, make a profile and share an opinion.

More Downtime

So, I finally got my desktop up and running after 2 months but in doing so brought more downtime to my home server. After getting a series of replacement motherboards I found my power supply to be bad also. I took the power supply from the home server to get my desktop back to its feet, so just another RMA replacement and a quick swap, and the home server should be good to go again… Stay Posted.

Upgrading

The home server is down for a much needed upgrade. I would like feedback on how I should use the new server. FTP is a given already and I am toying with the idea of a web server for streaming video again, however with my current connection HD movies are impossible. If I get some good ideas I might do a poll to vote on it. Drop a line and voice an opinion!
